All my ceramics are hand made in my Zürich studio.
The glazes and colours are the result of hundreds of tests and years of work,
and all patterns are individually hand painted or modelled by myself.

My range of shapes is inspired from classic pottery forms, but very stylised.
Using decorative glazes on clean shapes gives a very modern edge to the work.
Such glazes were very popular in ancient China and the Far East, but also enjoyed
a great revival in the 30's with the Art Deco movement.

Lately I have rediscovered traditional Delft painting techniques, and use my basic shapes as canvas
for an eclectic variation of pattern and text.
I also use this technique on my exclusive hand made tiles.
